This is a Burger King commercial from 1982. In the front row is Lea Thompson who is most famous for playing Marty McFly’s mom in all three Back To The Future films and (unfortunately) for Howard The Duck, although today she can be seen in ABC Family’s Switched At Birth. Sitting next to her is Elisabeth Shue who was in the second and third Back to the Future films and also in Adventures in Babysitting and the incredibly underrated Hamlet 2. But that’s not all. Sitting on Lea Thompson’s lap is baby Sarah Michelle Gellar of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Ringer fame. Space Cases was a sci-fi television series that aired on Nickelodeon from 1996-1997 about a group of misfit students trapped on board an alien ship and the adventures they had trying to get home. It starred Jewel Staite (Firefly, Stargate Atlantis) as Catalina, a rainbow-haired Saturnian (whatever that is), and former Mighty Morphin’ Power Ranger’s star Walter Jones (who we also spotted in an episode of Buffy) as Harlan Band, a human who wants to become a Stardog (whatever that is) like his father, who was killed by an Andromedan during the Andromedan War (whatever that is).
