Television writer/producer Michael Schur is probably best known face-wise for his role as Dwight’s cousin Mose Schrute on The Office, and brain-wise he’s best known as the creator of NBC’s very funny Parks and Recreation and as a writer/producer of The Office, but back in 2007 he appeared as “Paul” in a season 4 episode of The O.C. Not that strange considering his wife J.J. Philbin (daughter of Regis Philbin) was a writer on the show at the time.

Stephen Merchant is best known as that tall skinny bloke who hangs around Ricky Gervais (he’s also a co-creator/writer of The Office/Extras/An Idiot Abroad and the voice actor for Portal 2’s Wheatley) but did you know he appeared in an episode of 24? Between Glee’s 3rd season premiering last night and The Office coming back tonight for its 8th season tonight, here is perhaps the most frequently submitted post to ISAFF. It originally went up on February 2, 2011, a mere 24 hours after we first launched the blog, but that hasn’t stopped people from sending it in on an almost weekly basis.
