It’s almost impossible to recognize The O.C.’s Samaire Armstrong (she was Anna!) in an episode of Freaks and Geeks but her annoying voice was all we needed to be completely sure it was her. #TeamSummer!

Mischa Barton (of The OC fame) and Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly, Covert Affairs) both appeared in the 2001 film Lost and Delirious about a lesbian relationship in an all-girls boarding school.
Great submission, idealexploration!

We saw Kayla Ewell in The Vampire Diaries attending a dance at Mystic Falls High School that didn’t end so well for her but a few years earlier she attended a much more successful dance at Newport Union with Marissa, Johnny and Chili in The OC.

It’s ok to admit that you were scared of this movie as a kid, I think we all were. But did you spot The O.C.’s creepy Oliver Trask (Taylor Handley) as the main character in Phantom of the Megaplex?
Awesome submission, libscastro!

Television writer/producer Michael Schur is probably best known face-wise for his role as Dwight’s cousin Mose Schrute on The Office, and brain-wise he’s best known as the creator of NBC’s very funny Parks and Recreation and as a writer/producer of The Office, but back in 2007 he appeared as “Paul” in a season 4 episode of The O.C. Not that strange considering his wife J.J. Philbin (daughter of Regis Philbin) was a writer on the show at the time.
Thanks for the submission, softastic!

This one may be rather well known but we’re all for more Adam Brody in the ISAFF archives, so have it anyway. It’s The O.C.’s lovable Seth Cohen as Dave, Lane’s love interest and band mate in Gilmore Girls.
Great find, georgia-on-my-mind!

Did you know that Wilson Bethel (and some long hair that we aren’t really feeling) appeared on The OC with Rachel Bilson way before they met as Zoe Hart and Wade Consella in Bluebell, Alabama on Hart Of Dixie?! It’s true! I bet you didn’t know he was fired from The OC after this one appearance though!

Tom Hanks’ non-rapping son Colin Hanks appeared in Season 1 of The OC as Grady Bridges, the star of the hit show within a show, The Valley. But seriously though, if Colin Hanks put out a Hip-Hop album, I would buy it immediately.
Nice find, hankinthemeantime!

Max Greenfield plays Schmidt on Fox’s “adorkable” hit comedy The New Girl but back in season 4 of The OC he and his eyebrows were cast as a young Sandy Cohen.
Thanks for the submission, softastic!

After guest starring as the chilling Oliver Trask in The OC (2003) and starring in the unsuccessful summer drama Hidden Palms (2007), Taylor Handley (left) had a small role in the recent movie Skateland, as Kenny Crawford.
Good eye, fiilthyfingers.

Melinda Clarke, otherwise known as Julie Cooper on The O.C., played Lady Heather on CSI for a few episodes.

Okay, okay, we get it. We’re not perfect and we don’t watch ALL THE SHOWS. Apparently Brandon Quinn, who we mentioned in our previous post about his roles on The OC and Vampire Diaries, is actually best known for being in a Canadian teen drama called Big Wolf on Campus where he played main character Tommy Dawkins aka “The Pleasantville Werewolf”.
Thanks to janekrahe, somaroy, shesso20thcentury, artisticactions, and red-headed-rampage for letting us know immediately of our grave error. And double thanks to red-headed-rampage for being kind enough to send us this hilarious screenshot. That is some awesomely bad makeup.

Brandon Quinn played Spencer Bullit, Kaitlin Cooper’s tennis instructor/Julie Cooper’s lover/Bullit’s son on The OC but he also appeared in an episode of season 1 of The Vampire Diaries where he tried to kill Damon for killing Lexie. So you know, normal high school stuff.
The OC’s Adam Brody must have done an amazing job playing Barry Williams in Growing Up Brady because he was also in an episode of The Amanda Show for a skit called, “When Brady’s Attack”.
Great find, katierose393!

Known for his appearances in Damages and the O.C. (and previously seen on this blog as the voice of Hercules), Tate Donovan played Joshua, Rachel’s boyfriend (until she embarrassed herself in front of him in her old cheerleading outfit and then proposed to him after a few short weeks of dating) in season 4 of Friends.
